Advertising per Icon is essentially a directory. Original but yet practical. Moreover, it is different from the traditional directories in this way: the purchasers are getting their publicity space (here called Icon Space) for life! Meaning as long as the web site will be on line (for ever as for us).

In this way, the number of advertisers (the purchasers) growing from day to day, you can see an interesting mosaic building up. Easily accessible, the directory is available in two different modes: the Mosaic mode, made of Icons, and the Directory mode, built by categories. The two modes can be reached simply by clicking the corresponding links above this text.

Finally, while the Mosaic mode will turn out useful for a random search, the mode Directory mode will serve a more direct result, since alphabetically listed.

The challenge of the mosaic...

As illustrated in the Diagram 1 below, the icons that we require for every Icon Space must measure exactly 32 px by 32 px, a total surface of 1 024 pixels. Therefore, as shown in the Diagram 2, the image will be built piece by piece, to finally give a complete mosaic. And that, for every one of the pages which contain 2 010 Icon Space each.

Thus, considering the final goal, as we shall receive icons, the challenge for us will be to build the image of a known personality.
